Ingredients

  • 500g Chicken Wings
  • 1 Sunkist Navel orange
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 2-3 tbsp honey

Directions

  1. Wash the orange. Juice half of it, then cut the skin into thin strips (avoid the white pith and use only the orange part).
  2. Slice the other half of the orange and then slice into quarters.
  3. Thaw and clean the chicken wings, then pat dry with kitchen paper.
  4. Marinate the chicken wings with salt, oyster sauce, and 3 tbsp orange juice.
  5. Add minced garlic and orange peel and mix well. Marinate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight for better flavor.
  6. Mix 2 tbsp orange juice with honey to make a glaze.
  7. Preheat the air fryer to 200°C. Place chicken wings in the basket and top with orange slices. Cook for 5 minutes.
  8. Flip the chicken wings, brush the honey-orange glaze, and cook for another 5 minutes.
  9. Flip and brush with more honey-orange glaze, and cook for 5 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Enjoy the chicken wings with orange slices.
