Orange custard
Directions
- Sift the flour, then add the egg yolk, sugar, and orange juice. Mix well.
- Heat the milk and orange peel over low heat. Gradually add the egg yolk mixture, stirring quickly until fully combined.
- Heat the milk mixture over the lowest heat, stirring constantly until thickened. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate.
Chocolate Cake
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C/356°F.
- Grease the bottom and sides of the baking cups with butter. Sprinkle a little sugar or cocoa powder evenly. Line the bottom of the baking cups with baking paper for easy removal.
- Melt the chocolate and butter over the lowest heat, then let cool.
- Beat the eggs and sugar until well combined. Add the melted chocolate mixture, then sift in the flour and gently mix thoroughly.
- Fill the baking cups halfway, add the orange custard, then cover with more batter.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 9 minutes. Let cool on a wire rack for 2 minutes. Run a toothpick around the edge of the cup. Cover with a plate and invert it to remove from the mold.
