Ingredients

  • 1 Sunkist Navel Orange
  • 3 tbsp Loose Tea Leaves
  • 3 tbsp Sugar
  • 400ml Water
  • 4 tbsp Milk/ evaporated milk

Directions

  1. Slice the orange.
  2. Slightly toast the tea leaves over medium heat.
  3. Add sugar and cook until it turns into an amber caramel.
  4. Add the orange slices and lightly pan-fry to release the citrus aroma.
  5. Add water. Once boiling, simmer on low heat for 3 minutes, then turn off the heat. Cover and let it sit for another 3 minutes (for a stronger tea).
  6. Remove the orange slices and strain out the tea leaves.
  7. Add milk and serve hot.
