Ingredients

  • 300g Frozen Prawns
  • 1 Sunkist Lemon
  • 1 tsp Ground White Pepper
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Rice Wine
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 stalks Scallions

Directions

  1. Rinse the prawns with running water for 3–5 minutes to slightly thaw.
  2. Juice the lemon and mix it with sugar and white pepper.
  3. Mince the garlic and chop the scallions into small dices.
  4. Use kitchen scissors to trim the sharp tip of the prawn head and remove the legs. Take out the stomach (dark green part) and use a toothpick to devein the prawns.
  5. Add the oil , heat up a frying pan over high heat, add the prawns, and cook until they turn orange.
  6. Pour in the lemon-pepper sauce and salt, stir well, then add rice wine. Cover and cook for 2-3 minutes or until the prawns are fully cooked and turn orange.
  7. Add the chopped scallions, toss well, and serve hot.
